California peeps: I’m looking for a few folks to stay in my restored 1976 Nomad camper before I list it online for guests.

Location: The Land of Make+Believe in Murphys, California. Centrally located on our 14 acres, with easy access to Highway 4. Includes WiFi, heat, water, electricity, propane, etc.

Free stay in exchange for things that will help me market it and/or make it an exceptional guest experience.

Seeking constructive feedback and assistance with projects (eg. hanging solar fairy lights, styling the camper for photos, participating as an assistant or model for said photos, light yard work immediately around the camper, etc.).

(If anyone has a contractor’s license and would like a longer stay in exchange for skilled work, DM me.)

Important: this unit has a compost toilet. It doesn’t smell and it’s easy to use, but most people haven’t used one before and I don’t want this information to come as a surprise to anyone.

Orlando Bowen’s mission is to inspire people to be game changers in the lives of others. Game changers influence the path, perspective, or possibilities for others, and inspire people to see beyond their circumstances as they pursue excellence. He is a former pro football player whose career was cut short due to a violent physical attack at the hands of two armed, undercover police officers, one of whom was charged, tried, and sentenced to multiple years in prison. As a sign of his character, Orlando publicly forgave his attackers and works to inspire people to see the humanity in each other and to then stand for that humanity.

He has been honored with numerous local and national awards. Most important to him, is being a proud dad to three amazing teenagers and being married to an award-winning educator.
