Sadly it took the press to pressure the department to communicate. That said, an audit has been started, an apology made, policies being reevaluated. It’s a start and a good example. Hopefully some justice is found for the survivors and families in these cases.

No! No! No! F**K NO!!!!!!!!!!! I’m pi**ed and embarrased for and at my former profession. I hope the department feels the hurt financially, ethically, and morally. There are no excuses.

I rarely will get so worked up publicly like this.

Our world/ and country has to do better. The ripple effects of this one case ( human being ) will be felt for decades in ways we still don’t and won’t understand.
