"You made it" felt good. "You showed up" feels like enough.

Who's your enough? 🤍

If we really did choose this — the forgetting, the feeling all of it, the coming here anyway then I'd choose these two every single time. Whatever we signed up for before we got here, this is the part I'd never trade. Perfectly safe, right here. 🤍

'' Later" is the most expensive word we use. Call them today — not because something's wrong, just because you can. 🤍

Same swing. Same little girl. One year later.

That’s the strange thing about life — the moments that matter most rarely announce themselves while they’re happening.

The business can wait.
The phone can wait.
The next goal can wait.

She won’t be this little again.

Don’t spend so much time building the life you want that you miss the life you already have.

Ambition has given me a lot.

It has also made me look harder at what I carry through the front door.

My family doesn’t just experience the results of what I build. They experience the version of me doing the building.

That makes the cost of success feel a lot more personal.

I’m still learning how to leave the right things at work.

The table will always matter more than the title. Tag the people who'd still show up.

I got cut off at Chuck E. Cheese. 😂

Well… not really.

But looking at this, part of me wishes someone had handed me a card like this years ago.

Not all of us are lucky enough to get an obvious sign that our habits are starting to cost us more than they’re giving us.

Sometimes there’s no dramatic intervention.

No one pulls you aside.

No one tells you, “Hey, this is becoming a problem.”

You just slowly normalize feeling worse, performing worse, being less present, and making choices that don’t line up with the person you want to become.

Eventually, you have to learn to cut yourself off.

From the habits.
From the excuses.
From the version of you that keeps choosing what feels good now over what actually makes life better.

I wish someone had “cut me off” sooner.

But I’m grateful I finally learned to do it myself.

she'll never post this, so I will. Everything that looks easy about our life is her, doing the quiet work no one sees. I just get the credit. 🤍

Providing matters to me. So does being present.

I’m learning those are not always the same thing.

There have been plenty of nights when I made it home, but the best of my attention was still somewhere else.

I don’t want the people I love to always get whatever is left after work is done.

That’s a standard I’m still trying to get better at.
