A dent in the door does not affect how cold the inside gets. That is the whole secret behind scratch and dent shopping.

Take the big French-door refrigerator currently sitting on our floor. It has a few cosmetic bumps and some tape marking where life got a little rough with it, but the water dispenser, ice maker, and cooling all passed our full testing.
