Leadership is about more than what happens in the workplace. It's about showing up, giving back, and making a difference. We're proud of our CEO's service with United Way of the Lakeshore and honored to support their mission.
For more than three decades, Brad Hilleary has been finding ways to give back through United Way. Today, we're excited to shine a spotlight on Brad as Chair of the United Way of the Lakeshore Board of Directors!
Brad, CEO of Webb Chemical Service Corp. & Trace Analytical Laboratories, first began supporting United Way 33 years ago. What started with giving grew into involvement in workplace campaigns, volunteer opportunities, and eventually, serving on our Board.
When asked why he said yes to serving, Brad shared that United Way's commitment to leadership and community was something he had always admired and wanted to be part of.
And that commitment to community extends well beyond the boardroom. Brad and his wife have eight children and have fostered more than 80 children! His passion for helping children and families is also reflected in his commitment to early childhood literacy, which he believes is the foundation for education and lifelong success.
One of Brad's favorite United Way initiatives is Day of Caring, where neighbors come together to roll up their sleeves and make a difference. For him, it's a reminder of what makes our community so special.
"Our community is stronger when we collaborate and come together to lift everyone up."
As we continue working to build stronger communities across Muskegon, Newaygo, and Oceana Counties, we're grateful for Brad's leadership, his heart for service, and the many ways he and his family continue to LIVE UNITED. Thank you, Brad, for helping lead the way! 💙
