🌱 Mow-Mentum Monday 🌱
If your lawn could talk right now, it would be asking for a drink!
Even if your lawn looks okay right now, lack of consistent watering can quickly lead to stress, thinning turf, and long-term damage.
What this means for your lawn:
Grass may begin to discolor or turn brown.
Root systems can weaken, making turf more vulnerable to weeds and disease.
Recovery becomes more difficult (and costly) later in the season.
What we recommend:
Aim for 3 days per week for 10-30 minutes.
Water early in the morning (start time of 5-6AM) for best absorption.
Please keep in mind that actual watering times will vary depending on:
Soil type (sandy soils dry out faster than clay)
Sun vs shade exposure
Irrigation system pressure and coverage
For the most accurate results, we recommend using a soil moisture meter to monitor how much water your lawn is actually receiving and retaining. This helps take the guesswork out and ensures your lawn is getting exactly what it needs.
If you have an irrigation system, now is the time to make sure it's running properly and covering all areas of your lawn. If you're unsure, we're happy to help evaluate your setup.
