Just wrapped another awesome week at the Ancient City Fire Expo presenting our multiple dwelling HOT program. The Heavy Hookup: When a pumping a plug, it is imperative that we tap all sides of the hydrant to ensure maximum delivery of water to the attack pumper! Remember, each 2.5” outlet is designed to flow 250gpm and this will help increase the residual pressure. This is extremely important on fires requiring multiple streams, such as commercial or multiple dwellings. Learn the hydrants in your area and how get get every drop of water from them!
