as we get older, we all realize that so much of the magic at Christmas time was the work of our mothers (and fathers too) so blessed to have so so many family traditions that encompass the entire month of December when we were growing up. My mother painted this for one of my sisters in an art class that she was taking as her getaway from 5 small children. This will be our eighth Christmas without Mom. But after some careful rejiggering now we have her art on our tree. Always looking for a way to keep her in our hearts at one of her most favorite times of year.
