What does CA Require?

1. File an affidavit with the state
2. Send a letter to your child's current school
3. Instruction must be in English
4. Capable of teaching (if you can potty train, teach your child how to get dressed, you can teach them what a noun is)
5. Teach courses common in school: Math, Language Arts, Science and History
6. Maintain attendance and grade book
