Led by Founder Ellie Anest, Eleven Eleven Winery is one of Napa Valley’s only urban wineries and showcases the approachable, luxurious side of wine country by providing both an urban oasis near downtown Napa and a traditional wine country experience. Beginning with the purchase of the 3.5 acre Laki’s Vineyard in the heart of the Oak Knoll District AVA, Eleven Eleven Winery expanded with the acquis
itions of Destin Vineyard and 11:11 Vineyard, which surrounds the winery property. Currently, Eleven Eleven Winery owns 35 acres of land, including 25 acres of sustainably farmed estate vineyards. Eleven Eleven Winery’s boutique production of luxury wines is led by Winemaker Kirk Venge and Director of Winemaking, Brett Weis. Production focuses on variety-specific wines highlighting the vineyard in which they’re grown. Kirk and Brett's selective approach aligns with the winery's core values, as they choose to collaborate with families who have long-standing commitments to the culture and care of growing and winemaking. The winery's 100% varietal wines showcase the true expressions of their terroir, including their three estate Oak Knoll District AVA vineyards. As a result, the wines from Napa Valley and Sonoma County are textural, fruit-forward, and balanced, with bright acidity that reflects the relatively cooler vineyards where they are grown. As a farming-based business, care for the land, environment and workers is a key initiative at Eleven Eleven. The vineyard, winemaking and landscaping teams pursue sustainable practices in their day-to-day operations, and continually seek new ways to upgrade traditional methods to sustainable.
