At our Mount Veeder site, we documented crimping in action. A practice that skips mowing or tilling and instead gently lays the cover crop down. What’s left is a protective layer that insulates soil microbes, helps retain moisture, prevents erosion, and builds organic matter back into the land.

It’s a quiet but meaningful part of how we farm with the help from , supporting healthier soils and long-term vineyard balance.

It’s going to be a full house at The Craig Tasting Salon this Saturday. We’ll have wines flowing, small bites from , live music from , and a few surprises tucked in throughout the afternoon at our annual Spring Soiree!
