Hey Everyone, an update on Altamura Winery. The Atlas Fire in East Napa reached the Ranch and burned the undeveloped areas, but we're happy to report that the main buildings are fine. PG&E quickly restored power, but we're still waiting on AT&T to fix the phone lines. We have a temporary VoIP phone solution in place for 707-253-2000, so we appreciate your patience if you're unable to get through right away. Our general email address is [email protected].

The 2007 Altamura Sangiovese was just reviewed by Wine Spectator and received 92 points! This is what they had to say:

"A close kin to a Chianti from a ripe year, with appealing tart plum and ripe cherry fruit showing accents of smoky rosemary and spice. The flavors are supple and rich, with just enough acidity to keep this lively. "
