The 2020 growing season has arrived. We look forward to a bountiful harvest and can't wait to taste what nature gives us.

We started the harvest for 2019 on Monday and it is clear that mother nature has been kind to us this year. The weather has been moderate with highs in the 70’s and lows in the high 30’s for the past 14 days with no precipitation. The forecast for the remainder of the month looks good for next week with highs in the mid to upper 80’s next week and in the 70’s the following week with lows in the 40’s and 50’s. No precipitation is in sight.

This year’s yield looks to be about 30 tons, unlike last year when we harvested 34 tons. Quality is high leading us to anticipate that the 2019 vintage wines will have superb flavors.

Bottling our 2017 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, 2017 Felicity Cabernet Sauvignon, 2017 Merlot and 2018 Rosé today. The 2017 vintage wines will be available beginning in April 2021. The Rosé is available now.

These fine Chicagoans raised their kids together and now vacation in Napa without them. They were some of the first guests to try our rosé on the patio, overlooking the vineyards. Thanks for a fun, slightly raucous 10am tasting 🍷
