From early to late Q1, BLS data showed a mixed workforce and economic picture: unemployment edged down from 4.4% to 4.3%, payroll employment rebounded from -92K to +115K, and CPI rose from +0.2% to +0.9%. At the same time, productivity slowed from +2.8% to +0.8%, highlighting the continued need for organizations to balance growth, workforce planning, and operational efficiency in a changing market.

The SAP SuccessFactors Users' Group in Dallas, hosted at American Airlines and sponsored by Degreed, brought together a strong community focused on one common theme: transformation.

SAP shared an exciting look at their AI roadmap, with Joule emerging as a meaningful part of the ecosystem, creating new opportunities for organizations to thoughtfully integrate AI into their HR strategies. Special thanks to Robin Michel for her always-inspiring leadership.

A highlight of the day was Andy Wei’s presentation, which offered a clear and practical view into where AI is headed and how it can support the future of work.

Our team had the opportunity to connect with SAP customers and exchange perspectives on the transition from Onboarding 1.0 to 2.0, as well as what it really takes to adopt AI in HR in a way that works for people.

We also toured the space at American Airlines, which was a great reflection of employee experience in action with thoughtfully designed environments to collaborate, recharge, and connect.

Appreciative of the conversations, the transparency, and the continued momentum across the ecosystem. See you at the next one!
