We are pleased to share exciting news regarding a National Geographic special filmed with our Burmese python research and removal team earlier this year.

This feature includes field video with Ian Bartoszek, Ian Easterling, Melinda Schuman, Jason Edelkind, and graduated intern, Kathryn Koo. Overall, it highlights the efforts of the Conservancy, the South Florida Water Management District, and others in making progress on this invasive species.

Join us this Saturday August 16th at the Naples Pride Center for an evening of creativity, sustainability, and community!

Bring your preloved clothes—rips, stains, and all—and swap them for something new-to-you. Every fabric deserves a second chance, and we’re here to make it happen.

In addition to the clothing swap, we’ll have hands-on DIY stations where you can turn unwearable pieces into unique patches and art. All materials will be provided, including fabric dyes, brushes, safety pins, kandi beads, and sewing supplies.
