Just because you have lots of storage space doesn't mean you have to fill every shelf and cabinet. It also doesn't meant you're organized. What it means is that you have more space to clutter and fill with stuff you'll never use. For this project, the goal was to organize my client's garage so that, God-forbid, there was a hurricane, she would know exactly where her supplies were located, as well as her pet carriers so that she could pack up her car and go in an organized, less stressful way.

When helping cliens declutter, downsize and get organized, my mantra is: "YOUR KIDS DON'T WANT IT!" We live in a world of disposable excess. If your kids want something, it's money, not your old stuff an despecially not the "stuff" that your parents left you to deal with that's sitting in a storage unit or in the garage. If you really think your kids want something, ask them and if the answer is "yes," tell them to store it in their home - - not yours! This is why you hire a professional organizer!

In 2025, after 232 years, penny production came to an abrupt halt. And although, banks and business are 'supposed' to accept pennies as legal tender, many have chosen to pick an arbitrary date to stop accepting them. Including my bank and two of the local businesses I frequent. Such is life. So sad to see this happen. So, if you've been hoarding pennies, now is the time to take them to the bank and/or coin machine at your local bank, and cash them in! Don't wait until it's too late!
