Happy to report that, once again, the Carriage Club building emerged unscathed from both Helene and, yesterday, Hurricane Milton. There is some ponding water and lots of sand in the parking lot/grounds but this old building is a fortress. Although there was some damage during Hurricane Ian, it has all been repaired and many things upgraded. Even then, the inspectors all agreed this is a very sound, well-built condo building. Carriage Club ongoing work after the Hurricane Ian storm surge 9 months ago.

Ground floor repairs are proceeding and the beach clean up is amazing. Our unit (behind 3rd palm tree on left, 4th floor) was not damaged but elevators, sprinkler system, fire alarms not yet operational.

Ian damage at the Carriage Club. Our 4th floor unit may be ok, but no one has been inside to check it yet. First floor flooded/heavily damaged.
