Dear CVA Members and Friends,

It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of Yaritza Pérez Román, a talented dancer with FloDivinas who recently performed at our CVA Entertainer’s Showcase.

Those who attended the Showcase had the opportunity to experience Yaritza’s beautiful talent and the energy she brought to the stage. Although her time within our CVA network was far too brief, she became a valued member of our extended CVA family, and we are heartbroken by this devastating loss.

Yaritza was also a devoted mother, and she leaves behind a young son and a family now facing an unimaginable tragedy. We are sharing the heartfelt message below from Laura, owner of FloDivinas, in honor of Yaritza’s life and the beautiful spirit she shared with others.

07/23/26 - A Message from Laura, Owner of FloDivinas:

Today my heart is broken.

This morning I received news that I never imagined I would hear. Our beautiful FloDivinas dancer and my dear friend, Yaritza Pérez Román, tragically passed away in a car accident.

Yesterday we were talking about upcoming events, new projects, and everything we were excited to create together through FloDivinas. We were talking about the future. I told her how grateful I was to have such a talented, dedicated, loyal, hardworking, and beautiful soul on our team. She shared how excited she was to be part of this journey.

I never imagined that would be our last conversation.

Although I didn’t know Yaritza for many years, I knew her long enough to recognize what an extraordinary woman she was. She wasn’t only an incredible dancer—she was a loving mother, a hardworking single mom, a loyal teammate, and a genuinely kind human being. She had a light that made people smile, and we were so fortunate to have her become part of our FloDivinas family.

My heart aches most for her little boy, her family, and everyone who loved her.

In the days ahead, I’ll be sharing photos and videos so we can celebrate her beautiful spirit and the joy she brought to every performance.

🎪✨ Step Right Up! What a day we had at the 2026 CVA Tradeshow: Step Right Up on May 20, 2026! ✨🎪
