Light storms rolling through as the cold front moves In. I do not expect anything major for the area. But here in Indiana right now it’s a different story as the weather is very bi-polar 🙄🙄🙄

Well In 2026 it’s even stupid I need to make this post. Sorry I should have been more transparent through the day but I have been down and out sick with a massive cold and in bed. We will be even lucky to pick up more than 5 inches from this system I am leaning towards 2-4 3-5 at this point. Coastal areas will still win out with over a foot plus. So what happened? The costal low formed way further East then modeled and I did stress about that in a lot of my posts. All models seemed to be on board and I failed and owe everyone an apology and I try to be as transparent as possible hence why I am always on the lower end for forecasts unlike most. The comment section will never be turned off as I believe in everyone has a right to vent and I will allow you to do so unless threats are made. Please keep it civil and I do apologize even though it is out of my control. Remember I will always strive to do my best but some storms do not pan out like models show and I can only do the best I can with the tools we are given to forecast.

Second call please like and share

A winter storm will move through the area Sunday through Monday bringing heavy snow with blizzard like conditions mainly Lancaster and Eastward. Winter storm warnings are issued with blizzard warnings along the coast. The system will amp up dropping 2 plus inches a hour during the strongest parts of the storm. Timing looks to be Sunday mid morning to early afternoon lasting until mid morning to early afternoon Monday. I will have a final call in the morning. Working on the updated call sorry folks was stuck on a fire call

Will have a new call map out this evening around 8-9. Lancaster and Eastward will have the best chance to see a foot plus but the jackpot zone will be towards Philadelphia eastward where up to 20 inches to 2ft is possible with blizzard conditions.

05:50 update

Looking at current model guidance it’s going to be a tough forecast. These systems have a tendency to be a big boom or a massive bust. Reason being the upper level low does it get pulled in if so big boom if not massive bust. The low getting pulled in is the difference between 6 inches vs 1 foot plus of snow. Right now models are having a fight on what fully happens. The GFS and some short range say yes to big snow meanwhile the Euro and other short range says less snow. By this evening we should have a good handle on everything. But my guts says not so quick on super high totals because I seen this before where models spit high numbers and an amazing track then when the storm hit stuff went wrong and only got a few inches. So patience will win the race on this one. Just hang on it’s going to be a long long day.

NOTE I AM ON THE CONSERVATIVE SIDE ON ALL MY FIRST CALLS BETTER TOTALS WILL BE POSTED IN THE FINAL CALL THIS EVENING

A winter storm will move through the area Sunday-Monday bringing heavy snow and blizzard like conditions. Right now some models are showing a more weaker Eastren solution while others blast our coverage area. This system will be another tricky one to forecast due to where the the low pressure bombs out and if the upper level low gets captured. I will keep monitoring this as the day goes on and have a final call this evening but someone is going to get slammed from this storm the question is who and thats yet to be determined.

Light Blue- Coating-4"
Dark Bule- 4-8"
Purple-8-12"
Red-12-16"
Yellow Line- If low bombs out in this area it would be the wild card leading to 12-18 "
