POV: You haven't paid for leads in years because your Google Business Profile(GBP) always came up at the top of the local pack when someone searched for your services in your area, which meant you had requests for your services coming in every day. Then you moved, so you changed your address in your GBP. Unfortunately, now your business shows up 5 or 6 pages down in the local pack, or sometimes it doesn't show up at all, which means you no longer get any leads through your GBP. You've done some research, and realize it probably has to do with not having your Name, Address, Phone Number(NAP) consistent across the web. Since realizing the issue, you've tried to recall every site and search engine where you've listed your company over the years, and then update those with the exact same NAP that you currently have on your GBP, but sadly it hasn't seemed to help much. You're barely working due to the lack of leads coming in, and because of this, you don't have the funds to purchase leads like you did when you 1st started your business. Now, you finally got a job for a customer you'd done work for in the past, and you've finished it and got paid, so you have a little $ you can use to hopefully help figure this whole situation out and get your GBP showing up at the top of Google's local pack again. Now this is basically your one and only shot though, because you only have enough extra $ to pay for one option, and through all the research you've done on your situation, it seems there's a few different options to choose between. Do you hire a company that specifically focuses on your NAP, that guarantees it will be consistent across the internet? Do you hire an SEO company to try to optimize your GBP for you? Do you hire someone to build a website for your company because you never felt the need to have a website where your GBP always brought in a ton of leads without you having one? Do you create a brand new GBP for the business, call all your past customers who left you 5 star reviews (there's 29), and ask them to please go online and leave you a review on this new GBP, and hope and pray you can get this new profile to the top of the local pack? That last option doesn't cost any $, but the amount of time and effort it would take to match what you've done with your current GBP over the years is daunting to even imagine having to do it all over again. I dunno. Any and all advice or suggestions on this would seriously be appreciated. Thanks everyone
