Day 2 in Denver ended on a high note (literally and figuratively) with a fun evening reception featuring local artist Leo Armijo and his band. While onsite today, our central office leaders trained in breakout sessions on financial literacy, best practices for new patient acquisition and the do's and don't of hiring well. Our CEO, Chris Scales kicked off the morning as he discussed SDB's evolution as an organization and goals for the new year

Our third and final Office Manager Academy kicked off on Wednesday, February 21st with a Welcome Reception for our 35 + Office Leaders at the beautiful Brown Palace Hotel in Denver. This historic property is the perfect backdrop for networking and best practice sharing together. The SDB home office team has been eagerly anticipating this final OM Academy as we've learned so much during the first two meet events and look forward to continuing this momentum going forward. The SDB West Office Managers had an action-packed first day in Salt Lake City with sessions on Marketing, Revenue Cycle, Procurement and hiring best practices. Small break-out sessions gave everyone a chance to meet key business leaders, ask questions and share wins from their offices. The evening concluded with live music and dinner onsite.

Our second week of Office Manager Academies kicked off in Salt Lake City at the beautiful Little America Hotel with a welcome reception for our 110+ office leaders in attendance from the west region. The team was joined by Dave, an exciting illusionist who kept everyone in awe while new friendships began. Day two is already underway and we are excited to continue learning and growing together.

Day 2 of Specialty Dental Brand's Office Manager Academy ended on a high note! Last night the team enjoyed Nashville's live music scene and a private concert by Karissa Ella. Our second day of programming included breakout sessions lead by our Marketing, Human Resources our IT leaders and concluded with a great session on cultivating and sustaining practice culture. We are all walking away from this time together energized and looking forward to next week in Salt Lake City with a new group of practice leaders!

Day 1 of Specialty Dental Brand's Office Manager Academy was a great success! Today, 40 + office managers throughout the north and southeast region gathered in Nashville, TN for the first of three 2024 Office Manager Academies. SDB aims to make this an annual event by bringing key practice leaders from the organization together for networking, fellowship and educational courses. Looking forward to a fun night with local singer, songwriter Karissa Ella!

It was a scary, good time last night at SDB’s 2nd annual Halloween party at Nashville Basecamp! From creative costumes to spooky fun games, it was an evening filled with laughter, togetherness, and a sprinkle of Halloween magic. Thanks to everyone who joined us, making this tradition even more special!

We’ve been on the move this summer, visiting Pediatric and Orthodontic residents at UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry, where residents networked and shared insights over dinner before they delved into lectures from Dr. Donly and Dr. Samson the following day.

And that’s not all! Our journey continued with the Texas A&M Pediatric Dentistry residents, sharing another memorable dinner and an insightful session with Dr. Donly!
