Confusing workplaces rarely begin with bad employees. Most of the time, people are trying to do good work inside systems that make success harder than it needs to be. When information becomes disorganized, communication breaks down, and priorities constantly shift, employees absorb the pressure created by the environment around them. Over time, frustration, exhaustion, and disengagement often follow.

It's always an exciting day to see our founder, Dr. Jeremy Henderson-Teelucksing, among an incredible group of powerhouse healthcare providers authoring a new book (yes, a textbook!).

Cummings Graduate Institute is proud to announce the release of Integrated Behavioral Health: Applying the Biodyne Model in Healthcare, now available for presale.

Edited by Dr. Cara English, DBH, Dr. Ellen Fink-Samnick, DBH, MSW, LCSW, ACSW, CCM, CCTP, CRP, FCM, and Dr. U. Grant Baldwin Jr., DBH, this groundbreaking volume brings together the collective expertise of Doctor of Behavioral Health (DBH) alumni, students, faculty, and professionals from the broader DBH community to advance the future of integrated behavioral health care.

Through real-world examples and practical applications of the Biodyne Model, the book explores whole-person care, interdisciplinary collaboration, healthcare leadership, and innovative approaches to improving health outcomes.

Sometimes folks are not ready for counseling, or they have gone through counseling and are still looking for something more. That's why our founder, Dr. Jeremy Henderson-Teelucksingh, wrote the Trauma-Informed You, and we offer a very affordable ($149) self-paced program designed to help folks reflect on and renew their relationship with themselves.

And the great news is that the program is now available!

If you are a manager, it is highly likely you are not getting much, if any, training at work...and if you are, it is probably about hiring and performance reviews.

You might notice a heck of a lot of focus on leadership development, and often those programs are inaccessible...couple that with the lack of management training, and you are often left on your own to grow your careers.

In large part, that is why we offer The Trauma-Informed Manager Self-Paced Training at Indigo Path Collective. This innovative model of management focused on the three key levers in management: relationships, systems, and information. It gives you the skills you need to coordinate the time, energy, effort, and attention of your people.

AND IT IS ONLY $249! Seriously!

You can even attend the first module for free to see if it is a good fit for you.

The New Better Us blog just dropped.

This time, we are talking about what to do and how to manage it when people give mixed messages.

Any day we wake up to a video of our founder, Dr. Jeremy Henderson-Teelucksingh, talking about trauma-informed principles is a good way to start the day!

Most people do not realize they handed their authority over a long time ago.

They just know they second-guess themselves, over-explain, struggle to say no, or feel responsible for keeping relationships stable, no matter the cost to themselves.

A lot of that did not start because something is wrong with you. It started because, at some point, staying connected felt safer than fully being yourself.

This new blog from Indigo Path Collective explores where that pattern comes from, why it continues, and what it means to begin relating to yourself differently.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month!

Mental and behavioral health impacts every part of our lives.

They affect our relationships, productivity, stress, sleep, nutrition, identity, illnesses, and the ability to keep going in the face of adversity.

That is part of what we mean at Indigo Path Collective when we talk about “Wellness Everywhere.” We must shift our focus to improving wellness at home, at work, and across our communities for all of us.

I also want to thank Ren for being visible about mental health in Hi Ren (link in the comments). The song verbalizes the internal fight far too many of us live with every day, but rarely talk about with anyone.
