In consulting we focus on manufacturing processes, distribution, supply chain, materials and so fourth. We do not implement a plan or change unless all of the components are available to effect the change and improvement. There is a push to be non-dependent on fossil fuels in 10-years. This sounds good but fails miserably under minor inspection. This will destroy our nation and our society and this is why. More than 95% of our food, goods, supplies, crops, electricity, transportation, food processing, public utilities and services, emergency services and on and on are dependent on fossil fuels. Electricity to charge an electric vehicle is supplied by fossil fuels. Farmers use tractors to grow crops, tractors run on diesel. 18-wheel trucks that transport food to grocery stores run on diesel fuel. Grocery store shelves would be empty. Manufacturing plants run on a combination of electricity, propane or other fossil fuels. There are not enough rare earth minerals available on the planet to replace the infrastructure necessary to replace fossil fuel vehicles, transportation, energy creation and supply. The minerals that are available are controlled and owned by China companies and contracts. Do your own basic research and come to your own conclusion.
