In the summer of 1954, Charles and Myrtis became part of the automotive repair industry and opened Hillwood Auto-Body Services. The internal focus for Hillwood consisted of estimates, auto-repair and paint restoration. In 1957, a wrecker was purchased and the business expanded to a twenty-four- hour wrecker servic
e becoming Hillwood Wrecker Service and Auto-Body. The legacy of business practices with prompt service, honesty and customer-focused care with a commitment to being ethical and socially responsible. The founders have developed relationships with the customers, police department, vendors and insurance companies. Charles passed away in September of 2011, but the legacy continues with the second and third generation of the Shope family to keep the tradition alive. We also offer:
