It seems like just yesterday we were hauling giant car seats through the airport on our backs, nursing babies who wouldn’t take a bottle in cramped backseats, and somehow trying to Tetris a pack-n-play, swim diapers, a monitor, and a bouncy seat into one bag 🫠
And now here we are. It feels surreal (and honestly a little emotional) to be stepping into a whole new season 🥹
Our youngest turns four in just a few months, which means we’re SO close to officially closing the chapter on eight and a half years of the “0-3” stage. And friends… traveling with them is *finally* starting to feel more fun than hard.
I wanted to pull back the curtain on everything that made this trip feel so much smoother (the exact things we’d never travel without again.) Just comment “VACAY” and I’ll DM you the full list of clickable links!
To everyone still in the thick of the baby and toddler years: we see you. I remember toddler days feeling approximately 3,452 hours long 🙃 Everyone kept telling us “cherish it, it goes so fast!” (And they were right, it really does.) But it’s also okay to admit that sometimes just making it to bedtime is *hard.* The early years are no joke.
So if you’re hauling the pack-n-play and counting down minutes to nap time right now, here’s your reminder: it gets easier. Genuinely, measurably easier! The work you’re doing in those little years matters more than you know. And one day, your kids will push their own bags through the airport, you’ll have a free hand for a hot coffee (that you actually get to finish ☕), and you might even sneak in a few pages of your book between building sandcastles 🤯
They really do grow so fast. So grateful for the chance to make these memories with our favorite little humans 🤍
