Another day as the sun sets in SC over Hootie and the Blowfish. One more night for me. I have empathy for the ones that have to wrap things up, ingest all that data, compile it all into show. Meanwhile I get to go to the next project. I really love the variety of projects I get to work on.

Just me and David Grohl of Foo Fighters hanging around at the Super Saturday Night concert during Super Bowl 53 in Atlanta. The tent constructed for the event was 72,000 square feet, had 3 levels of seats. Great job by High Hat Productions, and talented camera crew from NY, LA, and 7 terrific representatives from NASHVILLE!

So I get to go to iHeart Music Festival in Vegas, I win $85 in slots, get to shoot some great music and great artists, work with some of the finest tv people around, find $2 after a rap guy “made it rain”, and found a Lynyrd Skynyrd guitar pick! I won all around!

5 days in Havana, Cuba. Just a few pics until my phone locked up. Great lesson in paying attention to real life. Wonderful people. Wonderful country. The Mavericks performance was for PBS Great Performances and they were spectacular. Wish I had more pics, but my heart holds great memories.

Seems like the space we have to work in gets smaller every year, but we make it work. He gets incredible shots like this, and I'm running a hand held video camera inches above his mounted remote control cameras.
