As a photographer, my styling is always a balance of comfort, function, and style. For this wedding, I went with a lightweight navy jumpsuit because I knew weād be outside in the heat most of the day. Sneakers are non-negotiable for me. They keep me comfortable, help me move quickly, and most importantly keep me quiet while Iām capturing moments throughout the ceremony and reception.
I also packed a kimono for later in the evening in case it cooled off. Every detail of what I wear is intentional. I want to look polished and professional while still blending into the background enough to not distract from the day. Coming from someone who naturally loves dressing bold and extra, wedding days have definitely taught me the importance of movement, comfort, and being mindful of things like noisy jewelry or fabrics.
If I canāt crouch, run, climb on a chair, and shoot for 10+ hours in itā¦ itās not making the wedding day outfit cut. šø
