Amazon is making a heavy push for AmazonLocal it looks like. You can create deals on there for local customers, etc. It may be the same thing as GroupOn but you should at least check it out. They also have an iPhone app. I just downloaded it.

From the Harvard Business Review - Is all of traditional marketing really dead? Even as an internet marketer I highly doubt it. However, the article does bring up some great marketing ideas that are applicable for local businesses. It's a quick read, check it out.

In our social media-infused world, traditional marketing logic just doesn't work.
