"One year ago today on March 2nd, my life was changed forever. My brother that was my best friend passed away in a car accident on his way to work. If I had an entire day to write how much he meant to me and how close we were, I could. Four weeks before he passed, I was in Nashville to write a song for him and his fiancé for their wedding and within 7 minutes I had walked out of there with a song that went a completely different direction. This was that song. Little did I know in just a few short weeks this song was going to change everything. Dual, I love and miss you more than you could possibly imagine and I can't wait till I see you again."

When we were working on the final version and trying to get ready to record the song, “My Jesus” I just was not satisfied with the “sound of the song. The song needed to be more uplifting as it continually tells the story of how we should turn to our Lord and Saviour for the problems we encounter as we pass through this world. We finally came up with a blend of country and island and created a spunky and happy sound with a very strong message. Had a great time at the 5th Annual Josie Music Awards today at Dollywood!! We were so honored to bring home the Award for Promotion Company of the Year.
