Easter is not about an Easter Bunny. It is about Christ dying for our sins on the cross and rising from the dead 3 days later. Let us celebrate the real reason for Easter with joy and gratitude in our hearts. Easter is one of the principal holidays, or feasts, of Christianity. It marks the Resurrection of Jesus three days after his death by crucifixion. For many Christian churches, Easter is the joyful end to the Lenten season of fasting and penitence. Was Jesus crucified by Jews or Romans? It's a straightforward part of the Easter story: The Roman governor Pontius Pilate had Jesus of Nazareth killed by his soldiers. He imposed a sentence that Roman judges often inflicted on social subversives – crucifixion. The New Testament Gospels say Do the Jews believe Jesus was crucified? No. Jesus was executed by the Romans. Crucifixion was a Roman form of ex*****on, not a Jewish one. For most of Christian history, Jews were held responsible for the death of Jesus. The Real Meaning of Easter. Is the man who died on a cross brutally, for our sins. And 3 days later he rose back. 🙏 It's the highest Christian Holiday ever. 2nd is the day our Lord Jesus was born. We call it Christmas. True Meaning of Christians. Is not about a man in a red suit giving out presents. But the birth of the man who in his 30's died for all his brothers and sisters' sins. Easter isn't about a bunny laying eggs and giving out candy. Again it is about our brother through God his only son, dying upon the cross for all that believe in this will have eternal life. And there are Angels all around us. For it's in Jesus' name I am telling you this. Believe. He will return soon. Amen Julie Harper. And I Can Only Imagine. I will be ready when God's time has called for me. Our God is the only one who has all right to judge. And he has already pardoned me for my past and future sins. In Jesus Christ's name I pray.
