BOLDplanning is a privately owned corporation with its corporate headquarters based in Nashville, Tennessee. BOLD was formed in 2004 with a vision to assist government and private sector organizations with the creation and on-going maintenance of real-world, usable emergency plans. The founders of the company have extensive history in the emergency management industry dating back prior to the even
ts of September 11th, the War on Terror, and Hurricane Katrina. Their unique perspective convinced them that disaster planning was no longer a luxury for organizations but had become a necessity. Whether events are large scale such as a regional ice storm, or much smaller such as an office fire, organizations must consider the various risks and impacts of these events and create viable plans for the survival and recovery of their organization. BOLDplanning has years of high-level management experience with state and local emergency management agencies; including managing the response and recovery to dozens of federally declared disasters. Team members are nationally recognized professionals with subject matter expertise in all the critical areas related to this project including Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP), Continuity of Government (COG), Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP).
