Due to inclement weather, our office will be closing at 4:00 PM today for the safety of our team and customers.

With spring in full swing, we will begin to get calls for dryers not heating as they should. One reason dryers can lose their efficiency is due to airflow. Low or no airflow will cause dryers to inefficiently dry clothes. Why do we see a jump in these types of call in the Spring? Birds like to build nests inside the dryer exhaust vent.
If you find you are having to run your dryer multiple times for one load of clothes, give us a call! We can test the airflow and remove any restrictions within the dryer vent before any damage occurs to the internal components of the dryer.

Did you know that using too much laundry detergent when washing your clothes can actually do more harm than good? Not only does it waste money, but it can also damage your clothes and washing machine over time.

That's why it's recommended to use only 2 tablespoons of laundry detergent per load of laundry. Using more than that can create excess suds that can trap dirt and bacteria, leaving your clothes not fully clean. It can also cause buildup in your washing machine, leading to malfunctions and repairs.

So remember, less is more when it comes to laundry detergent. Your clothes and washing machine will thank you!

JB Appliance Solutions has an immediate opening for an experienced appliance repair technician. Stop working for an hourly wage and start working for commission. Up to 35% commission on all labor, depending on experience. The ideal candidate must have the necessary skills to systematically diagnose and repair all different types and brands of appliances. Part changers need not apply. Experience with sealed systems is a major plus.

The candidate must have:

2+ years’ experience doing Major Home Appliances Repair (HVAC is a plus)
Ability to present themselves in a professional manner.
Have excellent customer service skills.
Able to receive packages daily from multiple carriers like FedEx, UPS, etc.
Able to obtain a basic set of tools for appliance repair, specialty tools will be provided.
Good Verbal Communication.
Live within 20 miles of Raleigh, NC
Able to pass a drug and background screening.
Able to utilize our customer management software, staff messaging software, manufacturer websites and apps, able to be comfortable contacting manufacturer tech support.
Ability to work autonomously most of the time
Willing to join a dynamic and growing team!
Sealed system experience a plus, must have a desire to learn.
