Richey Promo (RP) is an Award Winning Country Music Promotion Company on Music Row. Some changes are happening in 2026.

RP opened in 1985 as the first company in Nashville to specialize in secondary record promotion calling on small and medium size country radio stations. Up to that point very little attention had been paid to the smaller markets and they were virtually overlooked and underserved. Within 18 months, the success that RP achieved caught the attention of executives at Columbia and Epic Records. After trying RP on one project, they quickly hired Diane and her team to represent all their songs to the secondary markets. It was during this time that Columbia and Epic saw some of their greatest successes, breaking artists like Patty Loveless, Rick Van Shelton, Rodney Crowell, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Doug Stone, Collin Raye and Joe Diffie. RP called the secondary stations while the label staffers focused on the big markets.
