A 5-month Harvard Business Review study found that when teams adopt AI tools, engagement actually drops at first. Teams get quieter. People retreat into solo work. AI starts dominating the conversation and the humans stop talking to each other.

Most managers were promoted because they were really good at their job. Then someone handed them a team and said "good luck."

The majority of managers receive zero formal leadership training before or within their first year in the role. Zero.

Think about that. We take someone who was excellent at their individual contributor work and we make them responsible for other humans' performance, engagement, and development. Without giving them a system to do it.

It's like promoting your best server to restaurant manager and expecting them to just know how to handle inventory, staff scheduling, and customer complaints because they were great at taking orders.

Kyberna Leadership exists because "figure it out" isn't a strategy. Your managers deserve better than trial and error.

A few years ago, I worked with a small business owner who was exhausted, constantly putting out fires, unsure what to focus on next, and feeling like the business was running them instead of the other way around.
