What a privilege to capture these moments shared at the CMA Pre-Awards Party presented by The SixOneFive Agency, hosted at Live Oak in Nashville, TN! Grateful for the energy, the people, and the chance to document a night full of talent and connection.

The artists were incredibly kind, and getting to hear them live while sharing real conversations made the night even more special. This was a new style for me, and stepping into it felt both challenging and exciting. Proud of how these shots came out and even more excited for the opportunities that will come from this experience moving forward.

This is one of my peers, Mike.👋🏻

Mike’s life changed during a company retreat when an ice curling accident led to a broken arm. Medical tests revealed the cause: Multiple Myeloma, a bone marrow cancer that had weakened his bones. Before treatment could begin, he broke his other arm in a household accident.

In March 2024, Mike started rigorous cancer treatments while balancing work and a necessary move to Nashville. During his treatment, doctors also discovered early-stage prostate cancer. Despite these challenges, Mike persevered, continuing his treatments at a new cancer center. With his wife joining him in Nashville after selling their Florida home, Mike’s story exemplifies resilience in the face of adversity.

Grateful I was able to capture these photos for him and share his story alongside it. He is still showing up everyday to work and pushing through all that life has thrown at him.
