You get tested the most when it’s time for you to elevate.

It’s funny how that works. Right when you start growing, stepping into something bigger, or chasing a new level… the challenges show up. Doubt creeps in. Obstacles appear. Things get uncomfortable.

But maybe that’s the point.

Maybe the test isn’t there to stop you, it’s there to prepare you for the next version of yourself.

Today was a great day!

About eight years ago we did an exercise creating a vision board containing pictures of the kind of team member we wanted to recruit along with the photo of a person we would LOVE to have on our team!

I put a picture of Connor on my board hoping that someday that vision would become reality!

That vision is now a reality and I could not be more proud.

I am so excited to have him as the newest member of my team and to have him at Global Summit! I can’t wait to see what he accomplishes this year!

This morning I had a call with a referral from a client, and at the end of our conversation he said something that stopped me in my tracks:

“I’ve been waiting for someone like you to call me. My team needs what you offer TIMES ONE HUNDRED!”

It was a powerful reminder that the people we hesitate to reach out to aren’t interruptions, they’re often waiting. Waiting for clarity. Waiting for support. Waiting for someone who truly listens and can help them.

When we stay servant-focused instead of self-focused, our calls change. They’re no longer about pitching or proving ourselves. They’re about helping, understanding, and adding value.

You never know who’s on the other end of the phone, hoping someone will finally reach out to help them.

The best gift you can give yourself this season isn’t something you wrap, it’s momentum going into the new year.

End-of-year goal setting isn’t about pressure or perfection. It’s about clarity. Take time to reflect on what worked, reset what didn’t, and decide how you want to show up in the months ahead.

When you finish the year with intention, you don’t start January from scratch, you start with confidence, focus, and forward motion.
