We are a remote based service, which is how we’re able to keep our costs lower than an in-house controller. This will save you on a full time salary, as well as taxes and benefits that come along with hiring your own controller. What we do ask for is a main hotel contact, either a GM or some other person that we can stay in touch with and help fulfill requests and share strategy with. We work with most accounting software, provided it is cloud based, which most today are. If you don’t have cloud based software, we can recommend quality providers. To lessen the amount of requests we need from the hotel contact, we also request remote access to the property management system. We’ll occasionally ask our in-house contact for reports and/or supporting documents to complete our work. At the end of the month, we’ll do all the necessary journal entries to balance and complete financial statements. We’ll then set up a monthly call with you to discuss results and provide valuable feedback and strategy to improve results each month. Ultimately, your satisfaction is our main objective.
