They just talked for a moment, but he was convinced. he was a fine asset; just no longer her prince.

The anguish he felt was his burden to bear, he loved her so much but she just didn't care.

She wanted the best and hoped he'd move on, but a new life was waiting the shackles were gone.

"Freedom for me and the children" she cried, no longer that weight to drag by her side.

No longer a man to hold her in place, nobody to stop her from winning her race.

Nobody telling her what she should do. Oh what she had planned, if he only knew.

"It's what's best for all" she said to herself, "..after all it's about my emotional health. I need to move forward and take out the trash, to lock all the windows and close up the sash, no one will ever think twice to get past, I'll make sure of that."
.and that, was that.
