What kind of event are you planning, and will your guests have the restroom setup they expect?
A simple restroom plan saves a lot of scrambling on event day. The best time to think about it is before the rest of the details start piling up.
Here’s the checklist I’d use if I wanted fewer surprises:
- Know the event date early, since weekend dates go quickly.
- Confirm the venue’s delivery timing rules. Some spots want same-day drop-off and pickup. Others allow setup the day before.
- Have the street address ready, plus the exact place you want the trailer set.
- Check how close the setup area is to water and electricity.
- If hookups aren’t nearby, ask about generator and fill water tank options.
- Look at the access path before you commit. Our trailers can be nearly 11 feet tall, so overhead hazards and truck access matter.
- Decide who will handle the final walk-through so nothing gets missed.
That last part is the one people forget most often. They plan the guest list, the food, the flowers, the timing, and then the restroom details get handled at the last minute. That’s usually when avoidable problems show up.
