In just a few weeks, little Ivy has reminded me of a few life lessons:
š¾ Be Playful. Life is too short to take yourself so seriously. Chase the ball, jump in the leaves, make everything a game.
š¾ Have No Fear. Try new things, leap off the couch (safely š
), explore new cornersāyou wonāt grow if youāre always timid.
š¾ Trust Your Feelings. Puppies are masters of emotional intelligence. They know who feels safe, who needs a cuddle, and when to simply rest their head on your knee.
š¾ Ignore the Noise. My puppy doesnāt care whoās watching or judging. Sheās going to tumble, wag, and run full speed anyway.
š¾ Go for the Gusto. Eat with joy. Run like the wind. Love like your heart might burst.
š¾ Find Joy in the Morning. Watching the sunrise on our early walks has reminded me the beauty of early mornings.
š¾ Greet Your People with Pure Love. The way my puppy greets my husbandātail wagging, whole body wiggling with happinessāhas inspired me to greet the people I love with that same openāhearted joy.
If a 9āweekāold puppy can live like that, imagine what we could do if we did the same. š¶š
