You know you're an amazing speaker. You've got a powerful message to share. Now, all that's missing is... BOOKINGS!
Are there still bookings to be had in this season? Absolutely. Events are still happening. They look different, yes. But people, teams, and organizations still need your perspective and your expertise.
While a lot has changed, here's what HASN'T changed:
To succeed speaking is to succeed selling (if you want it to be a business). No sales = no bookings.
"But I hate selling!"

I'm Shawn Ellis, founder of The Speakers Group. I've been supporting some of the world's most amazing speakers for over two decades, and sharing my own "Mastering the Moments" message for nearly a decade now.
Believe it or not, I wasn't a fan of selling when I got started, either.
"I don't do sales," I thought.
You want to share your message, not SELL your message. Right?
"I'll just get an agent to do the selling for me."
No.... big mistake. (Sorry.)
I know it sounds good, but an agent isn't going to sell for you until you prove that you can sell yourself. An agent wants to see that you've already built up a track record and some momentum. THAT's when they'll get excited about you. It's just the truth.
If you're waiting for someone else to "make" your business for you, you've given all your power away. And you're going to be waiting a long time.
BUT, have no fear. We can solve this.
What if selling wasn't so scary? What if it wasn't so hard? What if selling was just an extension of the thing you actually LOVE to do? What if selling was actually FUN?!
It's all possible.
You like telling stories, right?
If you're an amazing speaker, you know about the power of stories. And here's the good news:
Just like a powerful story will draw in your audience when you're on stage (or on Zoom), a powerful story will draw in your prospective client and help them see YOU as the guide they need at this moment in time... so THEY can be the hero they want to be.
