Congratulations to the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad on receiving $325,000 in capital support during this legislative session to help address critical maintenance and operational needs. This investment will help preserve one of Western Maryland’s most important tourism and economic assets.

At the recent Board of Public Works meeting, Executive Director Wes Heinz accepted the grant and shared the Railroad’s impressive recent impact, including hosting the filming of Paramount+’s Kings of Youngstown, which generated more than $1 million in economic activity for the Cumberland community in just one month.

A special thank you to Governor Wes Moore and Lt. Governor Aruna Miller for their continued commitment to investing in projects that strengthen Maryland’s local economies, preserve our heritage, and create opportunities across the state. It was also great to see Lt. Governor Miller presented with a movie prop from the production. This is a fitting reminder of the unique partnerships driving economic growth in Western Maryland.

We’d also like to recognize our Managing Partner, Rich Reinhardt, whose leadership and advocacy helped make this investment possible. His dedication to delivering results for our clients and communities continues to make a meaningful difference.

Lots of congratulations to go around! Kudos to our client, Prince George's Chamber of Commercefor another successful Excellence in Buisness Awards Gala. For the first time in the Chambers’s history, a sitting Governor was the keynote speaker, and Gov. Wes Moore did not disappoint!

Congrats to our client, Inncuvate for receiving the Strategic Partner of the Year award. Shoutout to our fellow National Harbor business neighbors Cloudforce and Wave Welcome for receiving the Career Educator of the Year and Innovator of the Year Awards, respectively!

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting ’s AP Language Arts & AP Government students in Annapolis. In addition to touring the State House and legislative office buildings, they observed the House and Senate floor sessions, met their local representatives, and more! We enjoyed spending the day with these brilliant students! Our future is bright!
