Today the face frames went on the right half of the built in we are working on. Everything is smooth with tight joints.

I have been absent from social media for a bit as I’m sorting some things out. Here are my project updates:
1. The laundry room cabinet is done and will be delivered this weekend.
2. Drawers for the eye glass cabinet are progressing as I have to make lots of dividers. I think I have another 75 more to go.
3. The built in is progressing as the two bottom cabinets got face frames and I’m currently cutting materials for the upper cabinets face frames.

I’m finally back to 100% after the kidney stone and just in time for our 24th anniversary. I have been promising her a spice rack for the pantry so I came through! This is a version of an Ana White piece that I modified. It’s ash and maple and finished is clear lacquer. And there is a 1/2” clearance above the top to close the door.

I’m not back to 100% and not even sure I passed the kidney stone but I was feeling better and got a couple things done today in the shop. I started putting together the drawer boxes for the eyeglass cabinet. They are looking good.

Repetitive cuts to get it right. Today we cut the dadoes in the remaining 5 drawer bottoms. Additionally we took all the drawer box material and edge banded all of it. I even started edge banding the 1/2” material for dividers but ran out. These drawers are going to be epic!

This is the first of 10 drawers for eyeglasses. These will go in their own cabinet in the clients home. These ply still needs edge banding and final placement but it’s coming together nicely.
