A truly one of a kind quilt for baby. Grandma Judy did the cross stitching 33 years ago and then put them aside intending a future quilt to be made with her mom. Sadly her mom passed before the quilt was made. Judy’s daughter is expecting in January 2021 and the whole family loves outdoors and camping so the artwork with the campfire was another extra special touch by grandma Judy. Judy loves to sing the children’s song “Good morning God” to her other grandchildren and looks forward to singing to this one coming very soon. It was an honor to be a part of this quilt story.

I made this King Size quilt "Farm Girl Vintage" by Lori Holt last year and sent it off to Missouri Star Quilt Company for a very special edge to edge top quilting. When it shipped back to me, ready to have it's binding put on, I was very sick, and so the quilt waited until I was ready to finish it. I don't have a King Size Bed and I don't know anyone that would appreciate this theme and I very much want to sell it. The asking price is $750. Can you share and repost? For an additional $50 I'll ship to anywhever in the USA.

Dad to be is a garage mechanic and the mom chose fabrics to use. My part in the nursery was to create curtains, baby blanket, baby pillow, bumpers, crib sheet, crib skirt, and diaper changing pad cover. The second photo is a nap mat set for the same customer a couple of years later.

This is the Texas Crown quilt. Previously I showed you the Crown Royal Quilt that the customer had shipped me a box full of the Crown Royal Bags and was really pleased with the outcome. The second photo is that Crown Royal quilt.

This Georgia Bulldog was “Thread Painted” by artist Janet Holmes Chappell. Thread painting involves marking and drawing on fabric, stabilizing fabric and hooping fabric and then embroidering each thread color on the sewing machine. After the center piece was created, each fabric border was added until the quilt was the exact size desired. The pillow shams are king size and the “G’s” are appliqué. Custom quilts are a collaboration between the fabric artist and the customer who knows what they desire.

These are Jelly Roll Quilts made from 2 1/2" strips of fabrics with 1 1/2" strip fabrics thrown in for contrast and a wide border added. They are quick and easy to make and always amazing. A Jelly Roll of 20 strips makes a large lap size quilt.

This is a computerized/digitized embroidery (found on Etsy years ago, purchased and downloaded to my computer and then saved to thumb drive and then transferred to my dedicated embroidery machine) of the twelve sons of Jacob, their emblems and their Hebrew names. I chose to make each of the twelve embroideries and place them in birth order as you can see here in the photo, starting top left going across to right and repeating each row at the left. I chose the fabrics and the thread colors and since this was my first I found it was just OK by my standard and I would do it very differently next time. Different fabrics and different thread colors, different layout, etc.

This Lap size quilt is just as much a work of art as is a patchwork of fabric. I used a "Design Wall" before sewing each little square together. It will always be "one of a kind" by GramsXpressions.

I made my twin grandsons this school bus in December 2016. The boys are 7 1/2 years old and will be 2nd graders in the fall of 2020. They still have their bus and play inside of it often. For me, their "Gigi", the bus brings mixed emotions at this time during the Covid-19. There will be no real School Bus Field Trips anytime soon. Social distancing is still a "Good Plan and a good idea". If they do return to school, facial masks will be required. We are living in different times, and these little guys don't even know it. What a blessing!!
