On Friday we had our weekly networking meeting. It is always fun and productive but this week it happened to be our in person meeting and they're always extra special. Not only do we pass referrals to each other, but we're all friends and interested in each other. It's a great feeling to have such solid camaraderie amongst our members. Our featured speakers were: Celo Janca our Plumbing & Heating contractor with Janca Plumbing & Heating who spoke on the issues one can have with old boilers and consideration of CO2 detection. Also, Savas Fetfatsidis our loan officer with Guaranteed Rate spoke about his journey to becoming a loan officer. Two great presentations. Last Friday the BNI Reboundersunders held their weekly meeting in person at 160 Gould Street in Needham in the space of the Market Cafe. It's been awhile since we have been in that actual space and it felt like coming home. In keeping with the holiday spirit of giving, our members participated in a toy drive for Toys for Tots. Organized and headed by our own Stacy Norrell of SKM Title & Closing Services. Her coordinating of the details ensured it was a huge success. A big thank you to Stacy. Our in person meeting had two weekly presentations. First up was Savvas Fetfatsidis of Guaranteed Rate speaking about the fluid mortgage loan market and some strategies to help in the process. Next up was Michael O'Doherty of O'Doherty Painting who spoke on the process and art of refinishing kitchen and bath cabinets and all it entails. All of our members were provided with their weekly one minute time slot to speak about what type of referral they were looking for. During the meeting we enjoyed fresh bagels and coffee. BNI is a international networking organization with local chapters made of of business professionals who would like to take their business to the next level. On November 4th the BNI Rebounders held their in person meeting at 160 Gould Street in Needham. We were treated to some very interesting and informative featured presentations. First up was Andrew Greenberg, Attorney at Law, who spoke on the housing courts and landlord and tenant matters. Ben Krikorian of Seven Point Financial followed with his presentation and spoke about the bear and bull markets and the cyclical nature of them. The Rebounders meet the first Friday of each month in person and the remaining Fridays of the month remotely. Our week of outdoor social gatherings continued with the Inaugural Pickleball Tournament held at the home of our very own Savvas Fetfatsidis, Senior Loan Officer with Guaranteed Rate. Savvas's generosity in full force starting with snacks and an assortment of ice cold craft brews. The Pickleball tourney began with some hard fought games featuring the teams of Richard Belofsky with the Bulfinch Group and Alan Rice of Rialto Academy. Nate Harel of NetTech Services teamed with Chris Buras of Rockland Trust. Thomas Ramsey of No Barking Around with Peter and finally Savvas Fetfatsidis along with Mark Karlsberg of Studio Eleven Photography rounded out the teams. After a few games of this double elimination tournament Savvas put his paddle down, picked up a spatula and grilled hot dogs and burgers to order for the group (sorry I forgot to take photos of the spread, I was stuffing my face with his amazing cheeseburgers). Delicious assortment of cupcakes from BabyCakes of Quincy was generously provided by Andrew Greenberg of Andrew Greenberg Attorney at Law, to round out the meal. We continued our Pickleball quest into dusk until the winners were determined but honestly we all won! It was a great time. Big shoutout to Savvas for so generously hosting such a fun event.

It was a picture perfect evening when members of the BNI Rebounders climbed aboard the Legacy Yacht Boston for an evening of fun, food and conversations while taking in the beautiful Boston Harbor via a sunset cruise hosted by Stacy Norrell, our Real Estate Attorney with SKM Title & Closing Services. Clear skies, comfortable breeze and the skyline set the tone for a spectacular evening. Our two hour cruise showed the beautiful harbor and the Boston Skyline with its iconic landmarks from a very different view. Breathtaking!!. Stacy's generous hospitality, amazing yacht, sumptuous food and drinks coupled with the continued camaraderie of our members made for a night we won't forget.

Today Elmhurst received much needed essential nutrition and I want to thank my networking group and continue our work. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Any income earned will be donated in more nutrition. Let’s keep it going.

I know Elmhurst in NY and MetroWest Medical Center in MA need this grab and go nutrition.

What an incredible meeting where Rebounders showed up with their gifts to support children for “Home for the Little Wanderers”. Every one of us shared our one minute commercial around the gift we brought and we laughed A LOT while supporting a great cause. 🙌

Excited to see what Rebounders does in 2020. If 2019 was any indication we have GREAT things in store. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
