🚲 Weekend rewind!

Saturday's races at Winnebagoland BMX brought out riders of all ages — from Striders to experts — and some seriously impressive racing.

Today is the final day of Mile of Music Festival , and it has been an amazing four days of music in Downtown Appleton.

🎶 Day 3 on The Mile of Music Festival ! Downtown Appleton is buzzing — 200 artists, 40 venues, and one more full day of free, original music tomorrow.

Our Medics Wisconsin teams are at Jones Park, Houdini Plaza, and Lawrence University through Sunday. Stop by and say hi — and keep that water bottle full! 💧

🚲 RACE DAY!

Medics Wisconsin is at Winnebagoland BMX Track in Oshkosh today (4650 Jackson St) as riders of all ages hit the gate.

Registration runs 11 AM to noon, and racing starts at 12:00. Come cheer on some of the hardest-working young athletes around — our team will be right there beside the track all day. 🚑

In the wake of the tornado that tore through the Fox Valley on 07/27/2026, Medics Wisconsin dropped off the following supplies with Amy Zaffrann Stawski and Rosenow Customs at the Neenah Walmart:

980 bottles of water
300 contractor bags
30 home-size first aid kits
48 hand sanitizers
200 hygiene kits (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body wash)
3,000 floss picks, 200 tubes of toothpaste, 150 toothbrushes
300 Listerine singles
200 Dude Wipes to-go packets
300 sunscreen packets
500 sugar-free single-serve drink mixes

They're back at the Neenah Walmart TODAY collecting donations — if you're able to contribute, stop out and drop something off. They've been putting in the work all week and getting supplies straight into the hands of people who need them.

This is our community. Fox Crossing is our home base. We're grateful to every neighbor, first responder, utility crew, and volunteer who has been out in the heat making things right again.

If you're helping with cleanup: hydrate, wear gloves and sturdy shoes, watch for downed lines, and take breaks in the shade. Heat injuries are real, and they sneak up on you.

What a way to close out a Thursday night.

Medics Wisconsin was on site at Jones Park for night one of Mile of Music, standing by so festivalgoers could enjoy the music with peace of mind. After the week the Fox Valley has had, it was good to see downtown Appleton full of people again.

You'll find us all weekend long at Jones Park, Houdini Plaza, and Lawrence Lawn — look for the red MEDICAL tent. If you need us, don't hesitate to stop by. Water, shade, a bandage, or just a place to sit for a minute — that's what we're here for.

Enjoy the festival, drink water, and take care of each other.

🎶 The Mile starts TODAY!

Mile of Music Festival kicks off this afternoon in Downtown Appleton and runs through Sunday, August 2.
Our Medics Wisconsin teams are set up at Jones Park, Houdini Plaza, and Lawrence University all weekend long. Stop by, say hi, and let us know if you need anything.

🎸 Appleton, it's almost time!

Mile of Music (Mile 13) takes over Downtown Appleton July 30–August 2 — 200 artists, 40 venues, 1 great mile of FREE original music.
