It is with a heavy heart that I announce the decision to put Harper Mining to rest. This was an extremely difficult choice, as we fought tirelessly to build this company from the ground up and establish the strong reputation our incredible team worked so hard to earn.
Harper Mining was an amazing journey—one filled with experiences and lessons that will stay with me for life. Words cannot fully express how grateful I am to everyone who showed up day in and day out, sharing the same vision and commitment to keep Harper Mining moving forward through many challenging and rewarding projects.
As I reflect on the past 4½ years, I am incredibly proud of what was accomplished and of the people who made it possible through dedication, determination, and a constant focus on safety. I am astonished and proud to say that during our entire time in operation, we achieved zero lost-time accidents and zero reportables—a testament to the professionalism and care of our team. I truly had the privilege of working alongside some of the best miners in the country, and I hold deep gratitude and respect for every one of you.
I would also like to sincerely thank all those who supported Harper Mining along the way—our administrative staff, consultants, clients, vendors, and the many people who supported us online and through our social media platforms. I am forever grateful for your trust and encouragement.
I strongly believe that when one door closes, another opens. With the closing of this chapter, I am excited to share that I will be opening the next by joining Hancon Mining as Director of Business Development for U.S. Operations. I am truly grateful for this opportunity and excited to bring my experience to a company that shares the same core values I believe in. I look forward to the future of Hancon Mining INC. and the mining industry as a whole.
