We just wanted to reach out and let you know we are experiencing a situation with our phone carrier that has resulted in us being unable to receive phone calls at this time. We have a website request line through wiaw.net and our [email protected] and [email protected] emails are still accessible.

We experienced a small internet outage today in the Underwood and Neola areas due to a component failure. Our team identified the issue quickly and has already taken steps to resolve it. Service should now be restored for all customers.

We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we apologize for any football game interruptions.

One of our upstream providers is currently experiencing an issue in Omaha. They’re actively working on it but haven’t provided a timeframe for resolution yet.

Good news: We’ve rolled traffic over to our backup provider to keep things running smoothly in the meantime. Most customers shouldn’t notice any interruptions.

Important note: If you use a VPN that relies on a static IP, you may still experience issues until Hurricane’s service is restored.

The Paul/Tyson fight broadcast is experiencing issues due to shortcomings of Netflix infrastructure. Our network is more than capable of handling the increased demand, unfortunately the same can not be said for Netflix servers. This is a known issue that Netflix customers are experiencing nationwide." ~ Chris

We’ve noticed some concerns about buffering or low-quality streaming during the Paul vs. Tyson fight tonight. Please know this issue isn’t due to your internet connection. Netflix’s servers are experiencing heavy traffic, impacting their ability to stream the event smoothly.

We have noticed that Verizon is currently facing a couple of major issues with cellular service, including problems with data, phone calls, home internet and text messages. As of now, Verizon has not issued an official statement or provided a timeline for resolving these issues. We learned this through forums and verified on downdector.com

As many know we had another round of severe weather that has moved into the area. We have actively been working on restoring as many customers as we can, as quickly as we can. We understand the frustration that comes with these situations. Our owner will be working through the night to get things restored.
