Exciting Day Today at MTE 🙌🏼🪵 🚛

Our new 2027 Western Star Log truck was delivered hot off the lot into our yard after being premiered at the 2026 Great Lakes Logging & Heavy Equipment Expo in Green Bay, WI. MTE Mills Committee members were the first to get a good view of this beauty!

We were grateful to be awarded a grant to purchase this truck and excited to have this new addition to our fleet. This Logging Truck will be used to deliver logs and firewood to our customers and help haul in inventory for some of our Logging Contractors.

🎬🌲 Exciting News!

MTE is proud to share that Forests of the First Stewards: Menominee Nation has been selected for the 30th Annual Urban World Film Festival, taking place October 14–18, 2026, in New York City!

Only 77 films were selected from 985 submissions representing 62 countries.

We are proud to have been a partner in this project and excited to see the Menominee story, our forest, and generations of sustainable forest management shared on this stage.

Congratulations to everyone who helped make this possible! 🌲🎥

If you’re planning to visit the Great Lakes Logging & Heavy Equipment Expo in Green Bay, be sure to keep an eye out for MTE’s new logging truck!

MTE was fortunate to receive grant funding to purchase this new truck, and we’re excited to have it on display at the Expo.

Just a reminder we will still be having our END OF SUMMER CORN-A-PALOOZA on Thursday September 3, 2026 starting at 12 pm.

We apologize we had misinformation and didn’t realize most kids would be back in school this day, but please feel free to stop in and bring any of the kids still home or after school. We still want to make this a family fun event.
