*Knowledge of electronic equipment components and design requirements.

Now that summer is almost here burglars are ready for your family to take that big vacation you have been telling everyone about on social media! Here are some helpful tips to make sure you don't get taken advantage of while having some family fun out of town!

1. Have a trusted neighbor or family member pick up your newspapers and get your mail for you so they don't pile up. This is an easy sign to burglars that you are out of town!

2. If you are going to be gone for a long time make sure to keep up with your lawn care! Burglars look for lawns that are overgrown!

3. If your family name is on your mailbox it is not hard for a burglar to look you up and call your house, or you, to see if you are home!

4. Be careful where you hide your spare key! If you only have 1 rock in your yard and it happens to be by your front door chances are thats where your key is. Be creative when hiding your key!
